Biography
Regarded by many as the best of all time, Nour ElSherbini’s legacy as one of the sports best women to ever hold a racket is unquestioned. The Egyptian made history early in her squash career by becoming the youngest ever world junior champion at 13 years old.
ElSherbini then became the youngest female World Champion, winning the sport’s biggest prize at 20 years old in 2015. Many thought that the record of 8 World titles held by Nicol David would never be matched, but in 2025 ElSherbini claimed her eight World title in Chicago, needing just one more to hold the record outright. She’s been the World No.1 at three separate times in her career, totalling more than 275 weeks, a 4x British Open champion and a 18x major champion. A great of the game that can achieve even more.
