Biography

Belgium’s Tinne Gilis started her PSA journey as one of Europe’s top junior prospects, winning several junior events before starting life on the PSA squash Tour.   Gilis reached 5 finals and won two titles on the Challenger Tour before becoming a permanent fixture in the major events on the PSA calendar.

Gilis claimed two PSA titles in 2022, reached her first British Open quarter final, won her first European Individual title and became a World Games champion. The year after, Gilis made further strides in the major events, reaching her first semi-final in Qatar and two more quarter finals appearances. Her first top 10 break came later that year and she hasn’t left since. She achieved her highest ranking to date of World No.5 in November 2024 and has become one of the most consitent performers in the biggest events on the PSA Squash Tour.
