Biography

Paul Coll is a trailblazer for New Zealand squash, becoming the first Kiwi male squash player to reach World No.1 in the world rankings in 2022 and to win the British Open in 2021.

Nicknamed ‘Superman’, Coll is renowned for his supreme athleticism on court and is one of the most physical players on tour.

Coll is a former Commonwealth Games Gold medallist, winning the men’s singles in Birmingham 2022 and has won multiple major titles on the PSA Squash Tour.

While a World Championship title still eludes him - having finished runner-up to Tarek Momen in 2019 - Coll has remained a constant presence at the top end of the men’s game having not been outside of the top eight in the World Rankings since September 2018.
