Biography
Peru’s Diego Elias stands as one of the most successful South American squash players in history, having become the first South American man to reach World No.1 in the rankings and to capture the PSA World Championship title.
In addition to his 2024 World Championship success in Cairo, Elias’ resume includes triumphs at major events such as the British Open, Qatar Classic, Tournament of Champions and U.S. Open.
Nicknamed ‘The Peruvian Puma’, Elias enjoyed a stellar junior career before making his mark on the world stage, picking up World Junior Championship as well as British and US Junior Open titles.
