Sivasangari Subramaniam

The highest ranked Malaysian since legend of the game Nicol David, Sivasangari Subramaniam was has been eyeing a place amongst the world’s best since she was 13 years old. The Malaysian started life on the PSA Tour very early and has competed in a staggering 44 PSA events before her final junior event at the 2018 British Junior Open - winning nine of them. 

After reaching a highest rank of World No.16 in July 2022, the Malaysian’s career was put into serious doubt after being involved in a car crash near Kuala Lumpur. Sivasangari made a remarkable recover and returned to competitive action at the 2023 Squash on Fire Open, reigniting her pursuit of the top. Since then, she’s claimed a Gold event title at the London Classic (beating ElSherbini and El Hammamy on route), made her first appearance at the PSA Tour Finals and reached a career-high ranking of World No.6.
