OVERVIEW
Across three seasons of competitive squash, Andrew Thomas has established himself
as one of the region's most consistent junior players, earning podium finishes at
virtually every tournament he has entered. His 2024–2026 record spans Open, Closed,
Graded and Start-of-Season events on the Joburg Junior Squash circuit and includes
four first places, six silver medals and four bronze medals.
Beyond local success, Andrew has represented his province at interprovincial (IPT)
level in three consecutive years — including selection to the Castle/Wills SA Schools
IPT squad and qualification for the 2026 U17A interprovincial team — and has competed
internationally, claiming a silver medal in the United Arab Emirates in 2024. He has
steadily progressed through the age grades from U14 to U17, and in 2025 won above his
age, taking first place in the U25 Open Men's C division.
