Bevan Garlick (born March 2010) is a dedicated and driven junior squash player currently representing Northerns at provincial level in South Africa. Since moving to Pretoria, Bevan has been an active member of the Northerns Junior Squash programme, consistently competing in regional and inter-provincial events, and has represented his province with commitment and strong competitive spirit.
From a young age Bevan has shown a passion for the sport, progressing rapidly through the junior ranks and establishing himself as a strong competitor within the Northerns junior squash circuit. His discipline, work ethic and love for the game are the foundations of his development both on and off the court.
As he continues his squash journey, Bevan’s ambitions are clear: he strives to reach the World No. 1 ranking, to proudly represent South Africa on the international stage, and ultimately to compete at the Olympic Games should squash gain future inclusion. Alongside his sporting goals, Bevan is committed to his academic development and aims to pursue an Engineering degree in the United States, ideally supported by a squash scholarship. His focus on excellence, both academically and athletically, drives his ongoing growth as a student-athlete.
Bevan’s character, competitive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement are evident in every training session and match. He embraces challenges as opportunities to refine his skills, and his positive attitude makes him a valued member of the squash community.
